## Biography

A true star of the international jazz scene, Gregory Hutchinson has been one of the most sought-after drummers since he turned professional in the late 1980s. Having collaborated with the very best — from Ray Brown, Betty Carter and John Scofield to Kurt Rosenwinkel, Joshua Redman and Roy Hargrove — he boasts one of the most impressive CVs in contemporary jazz. Navigating with equal ease through hard-core bebop, modern jazz and hip-hop-infused grooves, he is one of the few musicians on the planet to have achieved this level of excellence, which makes all the difference to the bands he plays with, whether for a single night or for years on end.

Fresh from the release of his tribute album _\*Kind of Now – The Pulse of Miles Davis\*_, he is currently touring Europe with a line-up of the very highest calibre. Bringing together some of the world’s leading jazz figures (Aaron Parks, Seamus Blake) and rising stars (Milena Casado, Jasen Weaver), he is here to present music that embodies the spirit of one of the greatest musicians in history.
