## Biography

**Thomas Champagne** (saxophone) and **Guillaume Vierset** (guitar) share the stage for a special meeting driven by long-standing musical complicity and a taste for exploration. Playing together for over 15 years in the **Thomas Champagne Random House** quintet and the children’s project **GribouJazz**, the two musicians take clear pleasure in diving into the colors, surprises, and playful madness of jazz.

To launch the **“Strange Meeting”** series, initiated at the iconic Liège jazz club **l’An Vert**, Thomas and Guillaume invite well-known figures from the Liège jazz scene. Joined by **Nicolas Puma** on double bass and **Basile Peuvion** on drums, the quartet offers a refined blend of original compositions and **post-bop** standards, balancing energy, lyricism, and freedom.

A concert rooted in dialogue, groove, and the sheer joy of playing together.
