## Biography

Among the rich pool of great jazz pianists in Belgium, there is one who is admired by all and whom almost everyone has had as a teacher, whether in the conservatories where he taught or during summer workshops, where his deep knowledge of harmony opened new worlds to countless musicians.  
I am, of course, speaking of **Erik Vermeulen**.

We are pleased to present a series of Sunday evening concerts in which he invites different musicians to share two sets, allowing his all-too-discreet genius to unfold before your astonished eyes and your **ears fully awake**.

For this edition, he is joined by the brilliant French bassist **Géraud Portal** and the young, virtuosic and highly musical Portuguese drummer **Diogo Alexandre**.
