## Biography

With their collective **Zoot**, Paris-based musicians **Noé Cadjia** and **Neil Saidi** stand as key figures of a **vibrant hard-bop scene**, carrying a modern and warm vision of mainstream jazz. Their quintet is a true model of the genre, channeling the full energy of jazz’s rich history into a sound that feels **fresh, contemporary, and deeply rooted**.

Outstanding soloists and inspired composers, Cadjia and Saidi have fully absorbed the language of their great American predecessors, reworking it with personality rather than nostalgia. The presence of young pianist **Noé Huchard** — undoubtedly one of the most exciting talents on the current French jazz scene — makes this already joyful quintet even more compelling.
