For this special evening at Toots, the Jonny Mansfield Quartet is heading to Brussels to celebrate the release of their new album, *Wide Step*. Led by vibraphonist and composer Jonny Mansfield, the group blends groove, lyricism and improvisation with remarkable fluidity.
Joining him are the cream of the new British scene: Will Barry (piano), Will Sach (double bass) and Luke McCarthy (drums). To top it all off, the quartet welcomes a special guest straight from New York: guitarist Emmanuel Michael (who has made a name for himself alongside Chris Dave and Marcus Gilmore), who brings a superb transatlantic touch to the project.
Acclaimed by critics for its spontaneity and the chemistry between its musicians, Jonny Mansfield’s quartet has established itself as one of the most exciting voices in contemporary jazz across the Channel. A rare opportunity to discover this up-and-coming ensemble in the intimate setting of our club!
