No jazz expertise required, no dress code, no need to know the artists. Here is what to expect.

- Toots Jazz Club, 6 rue des Chapeliers, 1000 Brussels. Central Station (metro 1 and 5) is a 5–10 minute walk, Bourse (pre-metro 4 and 10) 3–5 minutes. Open in Google Maps →
- Real jazz, no homework
- Professional musicians and mostly "mainstream" jazz, from early New Orleans to today's New York scene. A club night is made for discovering, not for recognising.
- Come early, grab a drink
- The club opens 45 minutes before the concert. Come early for a table and a drink — the bar is worth the detour on its own (see below).
- Book in two minutes
- Pay online, receive your tickets by email and show them on your phone, or add them to Apple or Google Wallet. Everyone is welcome; after 10 pm the club cannot admit under-18s.

Very nice jazz club. You can see very close to the "stage" and the rest of the seat are on high seats so the poeple who seat in the front does not bother you. I understand the ticketing practice but it still feel like there…

The bar
Would we be a true jazz club without a proper bar, with a cocktail list to match the music played a few metres away?
Cocktails, with and without
Carefully executed classics of mixology, plus a menu of original creations, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, that changes with the seasons.
A real Brussels "stamcafe"
Around twenty beers, seven of them on tap, with rare gems from small local breweries you will struggle to find elsewhere, and genuinely interesting alcohol-free beers.
Table service, no shouting
During the concerts the team serves you at your table, shakes the cocktails in the back room and only pours coffee during the applause, so you miss no note. During the jams, the party moves to the bar and shots are encouraged.
Open late, until 2 or 3 in the morning from Wednesday to Saturday and around midnight the other nights, it is a place to spend the second half of the evening with live music, in a relaxed atmosphere where you do not have to shout to be heard.
