Max Kuitems, a young pianist from the Netherlands, is already making a name for himself as a promising talent on the international scene. After studying at Leiden University, he continued his training in jazz piano at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague under Rob Van Bavel. Since then, he has begun to make a name for himself by performing at a succession of iconic venues across the Netherlands, whilst also pursuing an outward-looking career: concerts in Norway, China and Germany, as well as a notable contribution to the EP ‘Reken Maar Van Jazz’, which showcases young Dutch talent and was nominated for the Willem Wilmink Award. He is also part of the indie jazz project Snuifmos, and is currently on tour promoting Jazzton’s new album, “In Search of You”.
